Broken Axel
Went to the track yesterday with the new clutch and flywheel and couldn't break the tires loose. Wheel hop no matter what I did. So I tried to ease the clutch out slowly. That didn't help me get a better time so I didn't know what to do. After about 9 runs I staged dumped the clutch and my engine just reved but I didn't go anywhere. At first I thought the clutch went out or something. But no I broke my freaking axel. Now I need to find one and none of the parts stores have it so I have to get it from Honda which means its going to cost an arm and a leg. I was thinking...does anybody make performance axels for the D17? I could probably get it for around the same price as a stock one from Honda. This weekend really sucked. And after all that my best run was a 16.4 when I know it's capable of at least 15.9
