15a lights fuse keeps blowing

15a lights fuse keeps blowing

Ok so yesterday im driving and all of a sudden the fuse that controls my parking lights, climate control and guage lights pops, so i pull it and put in a nother pops instantly, i figure its my neon pedals so i disconnect them from all power replace fuse turn lights switch to park lights and pop gone again, im pretty frustrated now, i checked all my reverse guage wires they look good i have stock tails, TYC projectors in front and a kenwood cassette with 10 disc changer that is working fine except illumination.

i have a 02 civic ex

You might want to check your wires to the fuse panel under your steering column. You might have burned a wire. The same thing happened to me when my alarm was installed and it was tapped into the wrong wire.

when i put in my hu there was a extra wire for illumination that was grouding out on the metal braket that holds the radio in that was killing my markers and tails.


Dunno if that helps at all but wirth a shot

OK so i rewired my reverse guage and still pops the fuse
so i take out my receiver and realized that i didnt tape up the illum wire and sure enough it was nice and black on exposed wires so i taped it and whatta ya know no more blown fuses
glad it was something that simple
