check engine light on???
my check engine light came on all of sudden and i dont know what is wrong? my car is even running wierd now and it just happened from one minute to the next. my car is an auto and and when i drive and hits around 4000rpm to shift it kinda revs up a little and then it shifts. what kinda things should i check for when an engine check light comes on?

Yeah get the light checked for free. It sounds like a tranny code to me, since you say it revs before switching gears. It's probably starting to slip.

Rep Power: 274 well i called honda today and they said they couldnt see until aug 24th so i decided to just check myself. it turned out that it was my intake 
i have an aem sri and for some reason it felt as if it was my intake so i decided to change it back to stock and well surely enough it was. no more check engine light. what i dont understand is why did my intake trigger it? what could've been wrong with it? well anyways, i decided to just stick with stock as i always hear gearbox saying to stay stock and well it actually is better on the low end than any intake i've ever had. wish i wouldve known this before i spent $130 on aem a long time ago and $250 on injen cai.

Rep Power: 812 Live and learn I guess. Now just get a Napa gold paper filter for $15 and you're set. Reasons for the AEM causing problems could be the iat sensor that got loose or something.
