Exclamation nid feedback!!!!

anyone noticing grinding noise on their 03-04 Civic everytime you put it frm Park - Drive/Reverse???? Somewhat a clanky sound with a jerky movement frm your car!!!!

I hear that sometimes on my 02 civic, I think it is normal. If it bothers you, talk to honda.

It's normal. Change the tranny fluid and it may get better.

This is only normal if you park on a hill and dont use your parking brake. If you are parking on a hill (like a driveway), do this:

1. Ease the car into desired spot
2. put the car into nutreul
3. put on the parking brake
4. take foot off the brake pedal you will notice the car move back a bit
5. finally put car into park

When you want to leave just do opposite.

1. put foot on brake pedal and put it into reverse (there will be no clunking sound, and this is better for the tranny).

2. take parking brake off

3. drive away.

Thanks for the reply, i guess you hit it right Ramones.....
Gearbox: my mileage is running 16500, might change my trans fluid when i hit 18000, thanks for the advice!!!
