commom problems at high milage

commom problems at high milage

hey guys im just wondering what are the commom problems you are having in the higer milages. What parts seem to go around 100k miles? (brakes, timing belts, water pumps, struts, berrings) if yu have this info on a 98 civic it would help me out a lot! Thanks guys

The belts should be changed. Everything else, get checked out. Fluids should be changed. Check compression and valve clearance.

if you did you routine maintenence then you should be fine. oil changes every 3k air filter change, spark plugs ect..
?? if you change the belts on our civicsdo you have to redo the timing?

Dont know about redoing the timing, maybe set it straight, Maybe set the idle straight as well.

Maybe a valve adjustment and fuel treatment for carbon buildup and clogged injectors.
