I've made several posts regarding the fact that my heater was blowing cold air when at idle. On one occasion the temperature gauge exceeded the mid-point for about 30 seconds.
Brought my car in, they bled the system and this resolved everything. For a few days. Today I get in my car to go to lunch and after starting it the engine chugged and the CEL came on.
Brought it back to the dealer, long story short - BLOWN HEAD GASKET.
My car only has 111,000kms on it (~70k miles). I called up Honda Customer Service and filed a complaint. Hopefully they'll do the right thing and pay for it. I replaced my timing belt and water-pump at 96,000kms. Car is well maintained, oil changed every 6000kms.
If Honda refuses to pay, there is no whay in HELL I'll EVER buy a Honda product again. I'll tell everyone I know the same too.... Details to follow.
