Front Brake Question

HI,

Hope someone can help me troubleshoot a front brake problem.

96 Civic LX 4dr Manual 85K

Recently noticed an itermittent squeal from front right wheel. Squeal goes away when brakes are applied...even slightly. There is no abnormal sound or braking when brakes are applied. Sound is consistently loud/toned at all speeds.

Could this be related to brake a wear indicator?

Thanks for your input on this issue...

doesnt sound like a brake problem, take your car in and get it looked at if it is annoying to you.

could the pads be loose and rubbing against the rotor?

only one way to find out... take wheel off and inspect the breaks
