Heat shield rattle help!!

I had a catback on my car and i have now put my stock exhaust back on. There is this annoying rattle coming from under my car when i accelerate. I thought it would have gone away when i put my stock pipe back in but it hasn't. I'm pretty sure its the heat shield. Do you think it would be a bad idea to take out the heat shield all together that way it won't rattle?

hm..

is it possible that the catalitic converter's shield is the one which rattles?

it happened to my bro's SI though....so he basically use a screw-clip-ring kinda thing... it's like a bracelet of steel that you can tighen it up with a screwdriver.....

he basically tighen up that shield and the problem's gone...
