hey all,
I know it says if your SRS light comes on to take to the dealer and i also know that theres a DIY to reset the light but 3 days ago the SRS light came on without me touching anything. a year ago the light came on but i found out i had taken my seats out and turned on the car, but this time i have not touched anything. has anybody had the same problem. dealer is charging me 90 F-ing bucks to take it off.

yes the light does annoy me. but the major reason is just want to make sure my bags will work properly.

Well, for one, if you can't diagnose the code yourself, you will have to go to an Auto store to run a diagnostic check. Just a precaution like you said yourself. It doesn't cost much to run the test.

you should, incase there is an actual problem, what if you have a head on collison and the light has been on ? and uh oh ur air bags didnt come out

just came back from honda and they performed the diagnostic test...

terrible news apparently my entire SRS Unit has gone to sh*t
$500 repair
warranty is long gone (got the car november 00)


has anyone actually had a broken unit cuz it seems like every thread people just reset the light

it sucks my situation had to be the worst case scenario
