Car stumbles upon cold startup...

In the morning, when i start up my 02 ex auto, the engine cranks over fine, but RIGHT before it completes its cranking cycle, it stumbles before turning over... like its choking. its done this since new, is this normal with you guys? Only does it on a codld start in the mornings when i leave for work.

I would turn it to the on position, wait for a few beeps, then turn to start. Mine used to do what you're saying, but not anymore for the most part. It builds the fuel pressure when you do that.

yep, turning on your key for a bit will put pressure back into the fuel lines. cold cranks require a bit more fuel, and more fuel = needs more pressure

hell yeah...mine does that to...but it keeps on shakin for bout a couple secs..and then everything is fine...just recently the check engine light came on...i had someone do a diagnostic..and it said my engine was misfiring and one of the coils arent gettin enought eletricity
