I live in edmonton alberta and I would like to now if it would be safe to install a cold air intake on my car. I know you can buy the bypass system but I don't know if that would help. In edmonton we have snow on the ground for at least 4 months of the year and the filter is so close to the ground that I am worried that it would get wet or covered with snow all the time. If anyone else lives in a cold winter climate and has a cold air intake installed please respond and tell me how yours is preforming. thanx

if you get a cold air system, all you need to get is a by-pass valve so that you don't have to worry about the weather changing on you, sure it lessen the horse power, but it better than changing your cold air into a short ram everytime it rains or snows.
