2013 civic coupe

Been having an ongoing issue with battery. Mechanics all insi
st issue with battery. Have averaged a brand new battery every year and a half. Someone else a mechanic also. Saya to look at the auto starter for battery drain. I just had alternater replaced brand new battery lasted two days. Today it started and i got a slew of warning messages...abs, brakes u jame it. At the end of my rope as no mechanics want to trouble shoot it. Any ideas welcome.

Re: 2013 civic coupe

Use multimeter at fuse box to find parasitic draws. Something is draining battery or it is not charging.
We often see wires chewed by rodents, ground cables not tight or have too much deposits.
Could be damaged wires too (abrasion of insulation, pinched, badly made splices to install aftermarket parts, etc - there are miles of wires in a single car)

low electrical power lights a Christmas tree in dash, it's normal. Don't worry about it until you fix electrical issues

Re: 2013 civic coupe

If you can find the aftermarket remote start system, unplug it.

Also, aftermarket alternators usually don't work out too well. Hope yours is working.
