Dead Battery issue?

Dead Battery issue?
2011 Civic. Left it outside during the winter for 6 months. Started it a few times no problem. Went to start last night. Dead. Had AAA come and jump it. Started right up. Let it idle for 45 min. Turned it off. Dead. Battery was new last summer. Is battery dead?

Go get the battery tested. Parts stores usually do this.

When you started it a few times during the winter did you let the battery charge up?

I did drive it around. But it hasn’t been started since January.

Probably a bad cell in the battery, hopefully you got one with a replacement warranty

Had the same problem with my battery. I was able to save it.
Apply 16 Volt 2 Amps for 21 hours (I found laptop charger with the same specs)
