Help! A chain of warnings. Where to begin?
Help! A chain of warnings. Where to begin?
Civic 1.8 2010
It started with check engine light. A few minutes later the VSA light come too.
I feel the car is heavy in the start of drive, but he simply works well...
I went to the garage who checked the computer and said there was a problem with the gearbox sensor (0720 Countershaft SPD Sensor Circuit Malfunction) . He sent the results to a gear mechanical man and in the meantime I was driving. Apparently the gear man is still busy, but in the meantime I noticed that the green light indicator next to the letter D on the dashboard was flashing. In addition, the power steering light came on (The steering wheel really got hard). Than i recognize the speedometer did not show the speed but remained at 0.
during 2days the transition works well...
Today while driving he stopped changing gears, and stayed in first gear.
The question is if it is possible that all these faults happened together, or if there is only one malfunction that causes a chain reaction. And maybe the problem in the electrical system in general
Where to begin?

post Scriptum. I saw a video of someone who had some of the symptoms and he solved it by replacing fuses... Maybe it's all about bad fuse?

Re: Help! A chain of warnings. Where to begin?
low electrical power plays havoc with electronics and tends to light up a Christmas tree in the dash (we parrot the same thing a couple times a month for these cars).
though your is the second I hear impacting the transmission
VSA/EPS usually is among the codes.
what is causing the issue is up to you to find out...
