Hi i was trying to get my window down with the front and rear switch and it doesnt.

When i pull the switch up and put my ear against the door, I hear a click noise, but nothing happens.

What could it be? thanks )

Re: rear driver side window.

Remove door panel and check the window motor. You can run power to it and check to see if it runs.

Re: rear driver side window.

Re: rear driver side window.

Have any cordless tools? Could use the battery from that, or even a 9 volt will probably make the motor try

Re: rear driver side window.

I've used a power tool battery to make the window go up and down. I guess the motor works.

What could be the next step.

Thx in advance!

Re: rear driver side window.

I bought a test light and tried some **** out. I got one wire in the front switch and one wire in the rear switch when I press up and down, the light turns on in both ways. Is that a clue? And no it's not the red always hot wire when it's on (II)... I kind of made sense of a legit wire diagram.
Thx.

Re: rear driver side window.

Broken wires in the rubber door conduit in the driver's side front or rear. Mine were broken in the driver's front and affected the passenger's rear which would open but not close.
