I just recently purchased a 2009 Civic SI. Everything is bone stock, came with the service records and the car is in great shape with the original paint. Only problem I could find was a knock in the front end when cranking the wheel all the way either left or right. After getting the car on the hoist and and having multiple mechanics check in on it I have finally pin pointed the knocking to my steering rack.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with aftermarket steering racks for the civic. Was also considering trying to find a good deal on a used one but wouldn't want to have the problem come back. Is this a regular problem or is it just a one off?

Otherwise I was curious if anyone else had any fixes for this. I have heard of people re torquing some of the bolts but I have yet to find a proper tutorial.
