Clutch issue

Car doesn't want to go into gear when I first start driving. I have to physically force it into gear. After I drive a few miles it starts getting easier but I find 1st gear on take off to be the worst. It's like it is engaging prematurely? When I have the clutch completely to the floor it is like I have it engaged? 2006 Honda Civic Si

Check fluid level, either the slave failed or the clutch did

Fluid is good.. adjusted the clutch once already but it only fixed it for a day and it just gradually went back to not shifting 😔

Ok, so I figured I would give an update. I put a new slave cylinder on it and ended up having some trouble getting it bled. I did get it pretty close as I stopped and had a mechanic use one of those suction things.. anyway, it definitely shifts better but still isn't right. One minute I have great resistance in the pedal and it shifts great. Then all of a sudden I lose all pressure, forcing me to throw it into neutral, pump the clutch til it has pressure again and then shift into gear.. I may try changing the master cylinder and then go from there 🤯
