Just did a trans swap on a blown trans in an 08 ex Auto. After the swap, I drove it around, shifts fine, no codes but I have no reverse. I've checked the fluid level, it's fine. I changed out the shift solenoid hoping it was that and nothing. When I put it in reverse it acts like neutral. I don't hear any engagement like if I put it in D. All forward gears engage and work. Hoping it's not internal, any other ideas?

Did the transmission come with a warranty? I think that's the road this is going down.

it did...I was hoping maybe there was something I might have missed but I think you might be right.

Unfortunately I don't have any other ideas. Solenoids are for shifting between forward gears so no effect on reverse. The only other input is the shift level which wouldn't read the proper gear if something were wrong. I guess triple check fluid level otherwise I'd be calling about that warranty.
