2012 civic lx manual trans no buttery smooth shift unless I slip the clutch
80,000 miles on this car and I notice that at lower rpms, the lower gears dont shift smooth unless I slip the clutch/not press pedal to floor.Seems there is a narrow sweet spot of hand pressure plus dont shift too low rpm and clutch pedal release max height to push pedal. Pushing pedal to floor gets a more jumbly shitty shift. Have read about the shift it at higher rpms and also read on 9th gen civic forum that slipping clutch does help. Shifting is not super horrible in general but its not as smooth as my 2001 civic. Going to change the manual trans fluid out which I would think would still be factory fluid for the same oem honda parts shelf fluid just to see fluid condition and know fresh fluid is in there. Must be an issue as there are many posts on the subject.

I dont see the clutch cylinder leaking. shifter linkages appear ok unless maybe bushings worn but at 80k miles?

Not pushing the clutch in but only about half way down gets much better shifts. This is just plain weird
