2006 chattering relay, not starting [solved]

Last time I used the car all was perfect
Today I went to start it and a relay under the steering wheel is chattering and the car wont start. I have about 290k on it The relay starts chattering as soon as i turn the key on on first position. Maybe a fuel pump relay? How do I find which one is that?
Thanks for your reply

Sounds more like the battery is low. Try a jump start or charge the battery.

This, your problem is low voltage.

its not low voltage. the starter cranks rapidly. I think it might be the fuel pump. Anyone had this problem?

Low voltage to that relay caused by a bad connection....

Chattering relays is always a low voltage issue of some kind. That would mean the starter couldn't turn the engine over quick enough or at all. Are you positive the engine is turning over at a normal starting speed? Take a video if you're not sure.

re: 2006 chattering relay, not starting [solved]

im almost sure that my problem is bad ground. I found the grounding strap between the motor and chassis to be in pretty bad shape. I just ordered a new one. Some youtubers are talking about a ECU grounding around some wire harness. Anyone knows exactly where it is? How does the ECU get the ground?
Thanks ,

re: 2006 chattering relay, not starting [solved]

I found the problem. The ECU is grounded by a 6 mm bolt which is located under the air box. Have to remove it to gain access. The bolt was very corroded and loose. I put a new bolt in there and vrrruuuum. Runs like new at almost 300k miles
Im very thankful to the YouTube poster
