08 Civic Coupe auto stuck in limp mode

just replaced the transmission from an issue that started about two months ago. i havent driven it since then due to it being apart from us replacing the trans. i though replacing it would fix the issue. i put everything back together and even put in new cv axles, motor mounts, filters, fluids, coolant, starter, and still i am in a kind of limp home mode where i cannot go above 4000 rpm. im not entirely sure where to start diagnosing here and any help would be appreciated.

4k rpm limiter has nothing to do with the transmission. Pull fault codes.

no codes. just "BCM Fault" and thats from the TPMS sensors for tire pressure

Are you in park? Google says the rev limit is 4k when in park. If the limit is 4k when driving, there really should be a fault code.

Checked engine oil level? Did you replace any sensors?
