Honda's Manual says to use only original coolant - but it costs 3 times as much [pic]

Hi all.
New here. Layman.

Need to change engine coolant according to owner's manual.

Manual says - do not use non-Honda one. Aluminum engine.

But this one from Zerex by Valvoline is offered here at 1/3 the price. Silicate and Borate free.

I would love to hear your opinion.

Thanks!!!

I always use Honda brand coolant. I buy it online to save some money compared to my local dealer.

I think @Colin42 has used that before?

I haven't used that one, i used the prestone one. However my vehicles were only worth a couple of grand. I would recommend sticking with oe coolant, but you will probably be ok as long as you make sure it meets the honda spec

I think coolant is one that is fine.
Power steering, transmission fluid are better keep to OEM.
