Found oil leak source on 2014 Civic exl cvt. Leaking from pan. Easy fix?
After using some dye I was replacing the trans fluid on my Civic last night and looked it over with a UV light. This has been leaking awhile and I wasnt able to figure out from where until now... hopefully. Ill add some pics to show where I think its coming from. I traced the leak and its almost for sure coming from the oil pan. I dont see any oil above the point shown on the pics. Anyway I just wanted to see if this is a big project, should I have Honda do it, etc. Ive been doing a lot on my car lately and this is one of the last few things I need to do. I just did tires, oil change, trans fluid, and air filter. Its a 2014 Civic EX-L CVT with 47K. Thanks
PS: Forgot to add that I already added AT-205 before I knew where it was leaking from just in case it would actually help. I just recleaned the area to see if that helped. Ill be monitoring it.
