Hey Civicforums! Whats going on? I've got a 2012 Honda Civic with an oil leak (R18Z 1.8L 4-door) and am trying to figure out where it's coming from.
My civic otherwise runs great and has no major issues with over 127,000 miles on it so far. I'm the second owner car and have had it since 25,000 miles. VERY reliable transportation requiring nothing more than regular oil changes. I also like to flush my trans fluid and brake fluid with every other oil change just because I can.
Anyway, any ideas about this oil leak?? Its leaking from the from right behind the radiator fans. I was originally thinking it might have been the block oil plug or the oil pressure sensor but the areas below that seem completely dry. Do you think this could be the oil pan gasket? It's gotta be a very slow leak because I don't notice very much oil loss although it's been leaking for a while and, unfortunately, I've kinda been ignoring it
Any Ideas? Thanks all!
