Map Out Warning Light

I've a 2008 civic and a few months ago while doing some work the sump plug hole got cracked and I picked up a used sump to replace it with, problem was this sump came off a civic that didn't have a engine oil senor and so I have to remove it. I've now got a warning light on the dash and that's not really a problem, the problem is my countries national road test requires my car to have no warning lights displayed.
So my question is, is it possible to map out this warning so the warning will be ignored by the brain?

no, just put the right part on with the sensor and reset the computer (disconnect the battery)
if the connector has been dangling in the engine bay for a while i'd give it a good clean with electrical contact cleaner
