Intermittent starting problems on 2015 civic
Problem started suddenly a few weeks ago when I went to leave and it wouldn’t start. Accessories would turn on but it will not crank. Eventually it fired up. I replaced the battery, and this seemed to solve the problem, but a few days later it happened again. I realized that by turning the key very slowly I can pretty reliably get it to start, but when I attempt to start it normally it usually will not. Any idea what this could be?

Same problem here. 2013 LX 150k mi. When turning the key a single click and starter not engaging. Battery and terminals, starter relay, neutral safety switch are OK. Turning the key second or third time or shifting the gear N to D and back to N helps.

Sounds like a Starter issue. Most common problem is the contact plate inside the starter, smaller than a penny is worn out.
To my surprise Duralast starter from Autozone has much larger contacts. For sure they'll last longer.
