Leaking coolant

My 07 civic ex started leaking antifreeze last night. I found where it’s leaking from but I don’t know the name to get the part. My cousin said it’s the freeze plug but when I google the part or search part from advance auto it’s not pulling up the screw. Can anyone help me name this part. Not sure if I need the o-ring or what not but I just need to know what to buy. Thanks

Re: Leaking coolant

I go to part store and they are telling me it’s not drain plug.
drain plug is for oil is it it? Correct me if I’m wrong because obviously I am on here because I don’t know much about cars but I am leaking antifreeze not oil?

Re: Leaking coolant

Engine block drain plug for the coolant jacket. I pulled those part numbers from a Honda parts diagram.

#17 & #24 on the diagram above coincide with the bolt to which you're referring

Thank you!!! Honestly I would be stuck right now without your reply .. was told by the only place who was trying to help me find the parts you told me about that I have to go to Honda for it.

I mean, it's quite a specialty bolt. You may need to get one from Honda or a Honda OEM replacement. The website links I posted are from a legit site, I've ordered from them many times. If you can afford to wait, it's worth the savings over a stealerdealership

OEM parts sites I use on a regular:
  • www.hondaautomotiveparts.com - Majestic Honda out of Lincoln, RI
    • They sometimes have coupon codes for 50% off shipping. Doesn't hurt to try retailmenot (or similar) coupon codes, right?
  • www.hondapartsunlimited.com - Bell Honda out of Phoenix, AZ.
    • Pro-tip: make an account, let parts sit in your cart. They'll send you a 5% off coupon. Wait longer, they send a 10% off coupon
  • www.hondapartscheap.com - South Bay/Piercey Honda out of the Bay Area, CA
  • www.hondapartshq.com - Stockton 12 Honda out of Sandy, UT.
    • Haven't ordered from them, but heard they're good. They have good prices, too
  • www.collegehillshondaparts.com - College Hills Honda out of Wooster, OH

I get "price quotes" (put it all in a cart and see price with shipping) and see who has the best. It fluctuates depending on parts.
