I'm trying to remove the rear window tint on my Civic, it's a bubbly piece of crap. The only issue I can see I'd run into is the tint is also behind the brake light, and I can't seem to find an article/video where I would remove the trim so I can remove 100% of the tint.

Also, should I use a heat gun or a steamer? I currently own a heat gun, but it looks like a steamer may be better for the removal of the adhesive, I just don't know.

Look up under the brake light from inside the trunk. There might be a screw holding the cover in place.

I have never removed tint but a quick Google search should get you some ideas.
