Hondata- what about support for D17A1 motors with D17A2 vtec head? And then what about the same motor setup with internal upgrades (cam, or cam + retainers + springs)?

This is great! Ive been running K-pro for a year and half on my swap. The nice thing about it is your car runs completly stock around town, but turns into a monster when it hits boost. Hondata makes an excentley product.

We rent the dynos from Church Automotive pretty much every week.
Here is what we would like:
- One turbo D17 VTEC Civic.
- One NA D17 VTEC Civic mildly modified.
The deal is this. We will pay for the installation of the cam wheel and tuning. Probably about 4-5 hours work.
Customer pays for the K-Pro.
California vehicles preferred.

I would be interested in providing my car for what ever your needs will be, i have a PRB A06 ecu (from my k20 swap that i havn't done yet) Although my D17 vtec is slightly more than mildy modified. Stuff that may not make me what your looking for is a crower stage 2 cam and a ported head. Let me know if your interested I want to see what this thing will do with real tuning before it gets yanked out.

Re: K-Pro for D17!!!!
Because we tried for three months to find an enthusiastic D17 VTEC owner to loan us their Civic to do a base map for.
There are no losers here. Only winners. You now have more tuning choices.
There is very little HP difference between the VTEC and Non VTEC Civics. THe maps we have provided will run a VTEC Civic OK.
If there are any interested D17 VTEC owners here considering this route then I will personally tune their car if they wish to bring it to our HQ.
Boilermaker. A new cam gear is needed because the D17 spins in the opposite direction to a K engine and the timing teeth are placed in different locations. The cam gear is adjustable. Our dyno testing shows adjusting it makes power even on a stock engine.
We do not do cheap. We do the best. We dont release products until they work 100%. Your Civic starts first time and runs like stock.
