Engine Management/TuningPost Information/questions about engine management and aftermarket control units here. Very important now with Forced induction from stock!
All indicators turned on when trying to datalog, similar like during we flash the car (Engine, Transmission N blinking, Brakes, steering wheel, VSA, all on). right after flashing Ktuner V1.2 to Civic 1.5T CVT.
During that time, the Ktuner device can not show anything, all parameters were blank, the device light was yellow. Restarted laptop and car, have tried couple times but still can't.
After couple times turning off/on the engine, one by one of indicators gone and I drove the car home safely, nothing weird.
I forgot to take picture when all lights were on, just check engine light.
At home, stationary key off, I plugged the Ktuner unit, it says communication failed, I switch stationary key on, it says Ktuner have reset the ECU and that's it. I rev the engine, all seems good.
Anybody knows what cause all lights on and gone bh itself?
When trying to datalog? That's crazy. I'd hit up ktuner to see what's up.
I was heading to highway. I plugged the unit, it was okay, I clicked record, it was recording for 1-2 minutes then it stopped, I thought it was the obd2 cable not tight, so I tried to re-plug many times, suddenly all the indicators turned on and the ktuner unit did not show anything until I went home, the device said have reset the ecu and now ktuner can connect again, back to normal.
I am afraid something technically or file caused this, so that may show up again in future.
Ktuner said "The device cannot cause the error, we can not help you to diagnose"

lol wow. They're usually really good about helping out. I mean, if everything seems okay, I'd say you're fine now. If you wanna play it safe, I'd say flash back to stock (thereby unlocking your ktuner) then reflash the tune. Just to make sure everything is all good. I've had my ktuner since Feb of last year with zero issues. Just some weirdness when I tried to upload new flashes to one of the 5 spots. It'd upload, but not flash, and I had to flash the ECU from the KTuner app. NBD tho
edit: moved to the tuning sub forum. I just added "tuning" to the subforum heading and I'ma start moving anything ktuner/hondata/etc related there.
