Dash lights do not come on.. car won't start..HELP!

I had a problem today..

I went to put in gas and fill the tank to the top. When I proceeded to start the car the car didn't start... It will crank, but will not start. I noticed that the lights on the dash do not come on.. you know how all your lights come on (engine, srs, key immobilizer, oil... ect..)when you set your key on ACC? Well, NO light came on. I can hear that beep but no lights.. All other lights on the car work fine.. Radio fine, headlights.. everything fine.

At first I thought it could be the gas.. but then why would my dash lights not come on? I figured Ignition problem.. I even pondered the fact that it could be the key immobilizer that comes from stock.. After playing around with the ACC. IGN, CRANK, brakes and auto shifter.. The lights all came back and I was able to start the car. The lights came on before, but I still wasn't able to start the car.. This time it started.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I have a Clifford Intelligard 850 alarm.. But it has never given me issues.. I've had it for well over a year.

No. It's not the dimmer. I could swear it has something to do with the key immobilizer.. its like its not recognizing the key or something..

sometimes that happens as the key ages. or if you have it next to another imm. key when starting.

or fuses could be blown on the car. if you pull all the fuses from the alarm you should be able to start the car.
