Dash repair

Hello,
recently had a small shop near me attempt to fix the ac on my '03 civic ex. After getting it back they didn't fix the ac and also they made aton of marks and gashes on the dash around the radio bezel. They're saying they didn't touch the dash so while I sort that I'm trying to figure out a way to repair it short of finding a new dash and putting it in.

This is what it looks like now.

Re: Dash repair

Yep, i have a picture from when i put the radio in like 5 days before where it's untouched. Even with that they say they never touched the dash. Thinking small claims court is my only option for that.
But in the meantime I wanna do something 'cause it looks awful.

Re: Dash repair

What a shameful attempt at a repair. They would require the audio unit to be removed to check the A/C switch and connections. Unprofessional IMHO.

Yea, this is what it looked like last week. Putting the radio in is the most I've ever done on a car so replacing the whole dash seems so daunting.

Re: Dash repair

you can try to see if there are ways to repair them. Never tried myself, but this is what comes up for "car dash vinyl repair" - there are more, you can try to look at all of them:
