something is wrong with the key fob, you have to take it to the dealer. Good luck, hope they dont charge you an arm and a leg for it.

Make sure the battery contacts are indeed making contact with the battery, clean it with an eraser or nail file. Blow compress air into the thing to remove any airborne contaminants. It is extra humid where you are? been in a wet accident? Can try to remove circuit board, submerge it in water, using a clean toothbrush. Remove h2O again using a compress air can let it dry. Good luck.

Do any of you still live?
2005 civic LX remote lights stopped too, both car original remotes few months to a year apart of each other stopped working.

I had tried using electronic cleaner and no success yet.
Intriguing as what could be the cause these remote controls fail, bought 3 different brand of batteries so far thinking it might had been the cauth but not yet.
