SRS light
I had neons installed inside my 02 civic not too long ago. Two neons are installed on the panel in between the front and rear door, one on each side. My SRS light came on a couple of weeks after the neons were installed and I took the car in to the dealership. They told me that the sensor had gone bad, but because the two neons had interfered with the sensor. Unless the sensor for the SRS is in the side panels, how can neons interfere with the sensor?

I dont know ehhhhhhhhhhhhh maybe you spliced into an SRS wire when you installed them????I think but im not sure some SRS wires on some cars are connected to the seatbelt wiring harness I think

You Say you HAD the Neons installed ??
Is it possible the installer ran the power line through an existing power line that a SRS sensor monitors??
That'd be my guess !
