Air bag light

Air bag light
My gf dropped an earing into the driver seat rail, so we had to take the seat out to get it. So after i get everything back together i turn the car on and the air bag light came on, i made sure both of the connections were still connected, and they were, and the light hasn't gone off yet, what do i have to do to get it to turn off? Does anyone have a link to a site with a write up on it? Thanks
