Steering pump what goes bad in it?

Power Steering pump, what is it that goes bad in them? When cold the whinnying noise is loud if I turn the steering any side before it warms up.. what causes this exactly, will the O-ring replace fix the issue? And the hose is leaking so I'm in need to flush and service this asap. Please I need some recommendations on where to get all needed repairs parts. Ty very much

if your hose is leaking. you need to replace that. replace the o-rings at the same time. sometimes the reservoir lets in air as well. get it all from the dealer.

not a how-to-DIY article, rather a question.

Moving to correct part of forums.
