2002 Civic LX: Power steering stiff and whining noise
Hello
when I start my car I hear a faint whining noise coming from the engine. It's much louder when I turn the wheel and when the car is moving.
Recently my power steering became stiff as well and seems to make this whining noise in relation to the stiffness of turning the wheel when moving.
What are the steps I should take for looking for what the problem is and fixing it?

Likely low power steering fluid?
Make sure to use Hondas power steering fluid to refill it.
These cars don't seem to like other fluids, and they do not use transmission fluid like many other cars can.
