Brake Pedal Creaks

Brake Pedal Creaks
My brake pedal creaks about half-way down. It does it every time. It is not a squeak. I tried lubing the hinges and the area that the rod goes into the firewall.
I have read that replacing the brake pedal itself has solved this issue for some.
