Brake Line Repair

The brake line on my 2005 Civic Si is weeping from the line running to the passenger side front brake. It is near where the downstream O2 sensor lines run, and I cannot think of a way to get in there to fix that section, which would be my preference especially since the brake lines are run in such a completely idiotic way as to be inaccessible. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on either running a new line or accessing the damaged section. to remove it and replace it.

Re: Brake Line Repair

You can use ni-copp tube and run a new brake line fairly easily. You can bend that stuff by hand making it much easier to replace. You would also need a flare tool and new fittings.

I have ni-copp line, but the parts place was out of bubble flare fittings. I was hoping to be able to patch in a section, but the way things are run, that won't be happening. I guess replacing the whole line will have to be my approach. I was hoping to get it done today, but without the fittings, it will have to wait for them to come in stock. I have one more place locally that may be open today (it is a holiday here) that might have them, but I doubt it as I have only seen inverted flare fittings there before. Thanks for the help.
