hand brake

have a crx si 90. Hand brake is kinda bad...everytime i run over a bumper or hole on the ground, the hand brake sign lights up, then i have to press down the hand brake softly to turn off this light...my hand brake is kinda loose...anyone know how to fix it?

just need to adjust it. You can do it at the rear drums.
