Rough idle

Hi! I have an 05 Civic DX, recently replaced clutch and have developed a VERY rough idle. I have done a idle relearn procedure to no avail. Just wondering if someone had any thoughts or suggestions to offer. Thanks in advance.

Re: Rough idle

Exedy clutch kits are recommended by many and either re-surface their stock flywheel, get another OEM Honda flywheel, or buy a high quality light flywheel.

Change your oil after if your flywheel is off balance.

depending on if the clutch is aftermarket or not it might be heavier you need to raise the idle a little bit, on the throttle body where the throttle cables Lead too there is is a 7mm bolt that is on a screw that needs a hex key to turn, it controls the idle speed I have stage 2 cam for it and had to raise my idle speed so it wouldn’t bog. If the car is not modified you will have to remove the whole air box assembly to get to it
