Misfire at cold start only.

Hi all, my 03 ex has a cylinder 1 misfire on cold start. car is bone stock. Over the past few days I have adjusted the valves and replaced the plugs. I Have yet to do a compression test at this point. As I said it only will misfire on cold start (after sitting overnight) and will not misfire on cold start if it sits in my garage overnight. Also, if I race the engine up off idle the misfire goes away immediately and doesn’t return. Just looking for some ideas.

I definitely think that’s a possibility, but as I said in my post, if I leave it in the shop overnight (55* vs 18*) there is no misfire on cold start. It’s really strange. When I did plugs I moved could around, and the misfire returns to cylinder 1 which does make the head gasket thing probable, however the plugs had zero sign of deposits on them. Compression testing and leaking down now to see what I get.

Time to try a leak down test to narrow it down.
