02 Civic- Hunting Idle issues

Hey Guys,
I read the sticky about Idle issues, and im still scratching my head on this. I have a 02 civic SOHC.

about a month ago, I had a exhaust leak in an aftermarket stainless manifold. At the same time, I would have issues with the car starting. I had a CEL code of bad 02 sensors. I assumed the start issues were due to the manifold crack. Ordered a new manifold. I installed the new manifold. I had a leak. Upon further inspection, I recieved a faulty manifold. There were unfinished welds where the pipes meet the mount. So, I welded up my stock manifold, and stuck it on there. Still have the hunting idle after the idle learn procedure.

Bought new 02 sensors, and a new PCV, since I was getting error codes on these. Installed, no dice.

So, I checked the intake manifold and all vacuum lines for a leak, and I can't find one.

At this point, my only thought was it must me the TB, so I bought a used one off ebay. When It arrived I cleaned it really good, but left the TPS alone.

Installed, and here is where I am now...

IDle relearn procedure....
REmoved positive side battery cable for a few minutes, and reinstalled
3K until the fans kick on
Turn car off, remove positive cable again for a few minutes and install.
Turn car on and allow to idle.

I forgot to mention, that there is nothing electrical on inside the cabin. no radio or heat or anything.

For about 30 seconds I get an idle of 900 then It begins to hunt between 1100 and 2K

When I pull the car out of park, and into a gear, the idle drops to a steady 1100, but still way too high.

At this point, I am thinking that even thought I checked for vacuum leaks, I have one somewhere.

I do not have a CEL at the moment.

Any suggestions from the forum would be appreciated...

Idle air control valve may be bad. Run the meter on it
