Transmission??? Or something else

So I have an 2003 Honda Civic EX 4DR Auto BMXA trans….so I had the flashing D and a DTC P1753 I removed cleaned and put back the 3 solenoids on the trans…the P1753 went away….but the issue I’m having now is I turn the car on and if I let it warm up and put it in rev or drive it won’t take it at all….like you don’t feel it go into gear….if you turn it on and quickly shift to rev or drive it will take it and then if you stop and try to give it gas it won’t move than when you switch to rev from drive or vice versa it won’t take any gear…..what could that be??? Or do you guys think the trans needs help???? Lol

Trans is most likely shot. Try doing 3 drain and fills but it pro probably wont help.

You can change the filter. It's just located inside the transmission requiring a teardown to get to.

Re: Transmission??? Or something else

A filter change may not fix it. Probably best to replace or rebuild.
