1st Gear Delayed Shifting (automatic)

2004 Civic ex, My car sometimes struggles to shift to 2nd when accelerating it feels as if the power is being held back as the rpms rise and then lurch's forward once in 2nd. Doesn't always do this but I still try to be gentle with acceleration. Car has 117000 miles, changed tranny fluid twice when I bought the car a year ago. Don't know previous owner history but fluid color before change was in between pink and orange, but yea this problem is only with 1st gear. Any advice or help would be appreciated!

No check engine. Forgot to also mention that there is some clunking on shifts.
