Question 03 EX Differential Speed Gear interchange

Sup ya'll....Finally had to break down and ask cause I couldn't find the answer.

I don't think I'm going to be able to remove the speedometer gear from my oem differential, so I'm hunting for a replacement. Per the Honda Parts Diagram, our differential is sold with the gear installed. (See Illustration 1) PN: 41100-PLW-E00

Now, the EP3/RSX have 2 separate SKU's for their differential and speed gear. (Illustrations 1 and 3)

Can anyone confirm or deny if part #3 (Gear, Speedometer Drive 41312-PE6-310) would fit a D17 differential (MFactory in my case), or can someone supply me the part number for an 03 5MT EX differential speed gear?

Might have found it...still want to confirm.
41312-PLX-A00

Edit: This appears to be the 4AT part number. The question remains open.

I would doubt that a k series part would work in a d series trans. You can get another trans for like $150 from a yard

New trans wouldn't help here...but good news!

Had to buy the ole HF 3-jaw puller set...but its all swapped over now to the new diff. I guess just look for updates soon in my build thread.

He helped me out so much back in the day. Still retain all the knowledge he dropped on me. Only person who could point me in the direction to re-key my ignition.
