04 civic dx 5spd won’t go into gear

Hey guys so I have an issue with my car and trying to determine if it could be something within the clutch or bad synchros in the transmission . So I drove to work fine no issues getting into first sometimes need to give a lil muscle to get into nothing to major and no grinds once in but when I started car clutch down won’t go into gear locked out of all gears even reverse but once I turn it off I can get into everything . I started the car and first clutch all the way down and it jolted forward every crank ? Any help or advice would be appreciated

-yes, have a friend hit the clutch so you can watch for full motion at the slave, the rubber boot comes of easily, to view it.

-check all motor and transmission mounts

-check shift linkage end bushings

If all checks out good, then yes, the synchros should be checked

the boot did come off easily but once I’m there what am I looking for ? For it to be moving smoothly because at time of it happening I did take a look at it and it was moving ever so slightly

Did anyone check the fluid level in the clutch reservoir?

Re: 04 civic dx 5spd won’t go into gear

I'll wild guess that it's time to pull the trans out so you can figure out what exactly has failed
Throwout fork, throwout bearing,, clutch disc, pressure plate ?
