sounds like your cv joint is going to go out..... if it is, then replace it because it can get serious.

GET UNDER YOUR CAR AND CHECK OUT YOUR CV BOOT if it is ripped then more than likely its your cv joint is bad. the cv boot keeps grease in and dirt out. the cv boot looks like a black rubber accordian thing. this isnt a pic from our car but just to give you an idea.
now you should get this replaced as soon as you can but if you cant afford it you can get a cv boot like item with a zipper on it and just cram that thing with grease every few days.

still everyone should check their cv boots on a regular basis like every time you change the oil. just make sure their are no rips or holes in it. typically a bad cv joint will sound like a clicking noise.

yeah, my cv boots are fine, one of them tore but warranty covered it. the noise, for me is more of a squeaking, and it sounds like its coming from the steering column.

ok, its not the cv boot lol. Take some white grease or silicone spray to lube the steering link boot that goes through the firewall from the drivers side. after you squirt some in rotate the steering wheel left and right. That should get the squeak to go away.

mine does the exact same thing

mine is coming from the steering wheel itself, not outside the cab

i think something just needs to be lubed up, its pretty damn annoying

Mine makes a *toonk* sound sometimes when I turn -- usually during low-speed turns, like backing out of or turning into a parking space. I can feel it in the wheel and under my feet.

Re: HELP: steering wheel is creaks while turning

My 2013 Honda Civic also makes a noise, noticeable when first using the car, at low speeds. I think of it as a piece of paper
stuck behind the wheel. It's not squeaking or creaking but sounds like paper or stiff fabric.

Re: HELP: steering wheel is creaks while turning

I switched my power stearing fluid it with Automatic transmission fluid, didn’t know it was a thing, it is supposably easier on the pump, I just does that when it’s cold now
