04 Honda civic Overheating
I have an 04 Honda Civic LX. The water pump went out in it so it was replaces, so was the timing belt radiator, thermostat, temp switch for the fans. I have burped the engine twice for air in the engine. The engine still over heats with no loss of water. I've checked the oil and transmission for water and there is none. I'm so confused. The fans work when jumped, but not when plugged into the sensor, I've tried 3 different (New) sensors and still doesn't turn the fans on.

These cars dont have the normal symptoms.
what brand are the sensors? aftermarket ones tend to not work.

As others have mentioned, this does scream head gasket. They don’t show the same way as other cars. Best way to check is the leak down test that was mentioned earlier, but you can also take a look at your coolant overflow reservoir. If you see that level climbing, it’s pretty much confirmed. Exhaust gases will breach the gasket and push through into the cooling system rather than oil getting into the coolant or vice versa.

I've rechecked everything, air box wasn't connected, Check engine light fixed.
Oil light (Idiot Light) possible sensor. got new one will replace soon.
Engine still over heating WTF......
The only possible thing I can think of is the New water isn't pushing enough water. Is this possible???

Re: 04 Honda civic Overheating
I'm guessing you mean the water pump, did you not replace it?
what brand of parts are you using?
did you get the head checked by a machine shop?

Is Honda so petty that you have to use only 1 brand of parts?
Bos for spark Plugs
Fel Pro for Head gasket Kit
Fel Pro head bolts
Import Direct Timing Belt Kit

They're very particular about electronics, other parts are usually ok if you go with a good brand.
critical parts, like a headgasket, waterpump, etc it's a good idea to got with oe

Not Through the switch. I had to jump it with a paper clip.
I got tired of it overheating and spending $1300 on parts to resolve an issue that still persists.
I gave the car away. I've got another vehicle that I can give my love and attention to.
Sorry to have bothered everyone. I stay with American muscle.
