Coolant leak
Coolant leak
I got a 03 civic ex that has had overheating problems since I had it. Replaced the head gasket about 15k miles ago and it’s been running fine. Recently I’ve noticed it has been overheating and the coolant is disappearing. At first I thought it was a head gasket problem so I just kept filling it with coolant while I was getting ready to replace it. During that time I decided to fix the thermostat because it was a cheap and easy. It seemed to work for a couple weeks and I had no problems. Then it recently started doing it again. When I was coming out of auto zone to get coolant I noticed it leaking. When I saw what was leaking it was coolant. It’s only leaking when it’s parked on a hill or angle. I was wondering if anybody else had this problem and knew what it was? I was thinking it could be a water pump or maybe I put the thermostat housing in wrong?
